Made from natural clear polythene (LDPE), in 120G (30 micron), suitable for food use. Fantastic for wrapping lengthy items and for making your own custom size bags or packets. Our customers have used lay flat tubing for making baguette and sandwich bags, creating a weather-proof sleeve to protect the sound wiring for an outdoor festival stage rig, beautiful presentation packs for silk flowers, and more. Lay flat tubing is a very versatile product.
All roll widths in 120G will provide approximately 688 metres (roll sizes above 30" yield fewer metres to remain under the maximum 30kg weight limit per roll, in place for handling safety).
120G lay flat tubing is available in roll widths from 3 inch (75mm) up to 36 inch (900mm).
Good quality plastic tubing, ideal for packaging biscuits.There was some damage to the tubing either in manufacture or transport, stretching parts of it and leaving small holes but after a few metres, these disappeared. The plastic is low static so it's easy to open the tubing by hand as well as heat seal.
